DAY 1 | MARRAKESH

Welcome to Morocco, welcome to the Red City! After arriving at the airport, our driver will be waiting to take you to the riad. The colors, the heat, the sounds, and the smells transport you to the magic that surrounds the mystery of the Thousand and One Nights. It doesn't seem like two hours ago you were in Lisbon. The rest of the day is dedicated to getting to know the group, either at the riad or on one of the terraces overlooking Africa's most famous square. We have dinner and sleep.

Accommodation: Moroccan Riad

DAY 2 | MARRAKESH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE

Depart Marrakech in the morning towards the High Atlas, passing through Tizi n'Tichka (2,260m above sea level), followed by a stop for lunch. Once on the road, we'll encounter the imposing UNESCO-listed Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou in the Ounila Valley, dotted with small Berber villages. We'll also visit the film studios where dozens of Hollywood movies have been filmed. Dinner and overnight at the accommodation.

Accommodation: Hostel

DAY 3 | AGDZ – DRAA VALLEY – MERZOUGA

We set off early on the unknown Southern Route from Ouarzazate to the village of Nkob, crossing the Sagro Mountains and the Dra Valley, one of the most palm-rich valleys on the African continent. Berber villages, mountains, and magnificent oases make this day an unforgettable experience. We stop for lunch... We continue through Morocco to the desert camp where we'll sleep in luxury Berber tents. A wonderful dinner and music await us. After the party, get ready to see the stars like never before.

Accommodation: Luxury Berber Tent

DAY 4 | MERZOUGA

Today's day is dedicated to discovering the Sahara Desert, one of our favorite places. We wake up early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, we'll take an adrenaline-fueled jeep tour around the Erg Chebbi Dunes. We'll make stops to visit the nomadic people and take photos of Morocco's incredible landscapes. Back at the hotel, we have the afternoon to relax in one of the most incredible pools we've ever seen and watch a sunset over the dunes that we guarantee will be unforgettable.

Accommodation: Hostel

DAY 5 | MERZOUGA

The day is free, so sleep in, have a leisurely breakfast, and enjoy the hotel pool, stroll through the dunes, rent a quad bike, etc. It's the perfect day in the perfect place to disconnect from the world. Put on your bikini, grab your sunscreen, and read a book, and enjoy—you deserve it!

Accommodation: Hostel

DAY 6 | MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGE

We wake up early, pack our bags in the jeep, and it's time to hit the road. Today is the day to visit the Rissani Mosque, followed by a craft shop, and then on to the famous Todra Gorges, where you can see the incredible 200-meter-high cliffs and gorges. We continue our journey through Morocco, through the Dades Valley, also known as the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Breathtaking landscapes lead to our accommodation. Dinner tonight will leave you drooling.

Accommodation: 4**** Hotel

DAY 7 | DU DADES VALLEY – SKOURA (ROUTE OF THE 1000 KASBAHS) – MARRAKESH

We pass through the Valley of Roses and make a brief stop to visit the exterior of the Kasbah of Amridil in Morocco. We have lunch in Ouarzazate and then climb back up the High Atlas towards Marrakesh. We arrive in Marrakesh just in time for dinner. You'll have time to explore the vibrant nightlife in the Medina.

Accommodation: Moroccan Riad

DAY 8 | MARRAKESH

Today is dedicated to exploring the hidden corners of the gigantic medina. To do so, we rely on the help of our local guide, who tells us about Morocco and takes us through the streets and alleys, showing us the artisans, the tapestries, the spices in a herbalist's shop... We also visit the magnificent Ben Youseff Madrasah, where you'll learn about Muslim culture and architecture. Today is the ideal day for shopping; we're sure you'll do plenty of it. At the end of the day, we celebrate our adventure with a final dinner together. It's time to say goodbye; tomorrow we leave Morocco.

Accommodation: Moroccan Riad

DAY 9 | MARRAKESH – LISBON

It's time to pack your bags, leave Morocco, and head home... at the appointed time, you'll have a driver to take you to the airport and back home. We hope you take away unforgettable moments from this trip. After all, that's what traveling is all about: memories that last forever.

Flight prices may vary depending on the season, number of stopovers, airline promotions, etc. On average, the approximate prices are:

  • Flight Lisbon – Marrakesh – Lisbon: ± €250
  • Meals not included: ± €10 per meal

You can book at the bottom of this page, then select your desired date and fill out the form with your details. An ATM reference will be generated, valid for 24 hours. Go to your bank's ATM or website and access the payments and services section. We'll receive confirmation that your payment has been made and send you all the travel information and documents you'll need to complete your reservation.

Of course, in addition to our groups including couples, friends, and family, most of our travelers sign up alone. It's a trip to meet new people and make friends.

This trip is for people who like to have fun and make friends, regardless of age. We're sure that if you come with a relaxed mindset, you'll have an unforgettable week. It's important to understand that this is an adventure trip, and therefore there are always unexpected surprises. It's a trip where you'll spend a lot of time in the jeep, but it's not a trip that requires physical exertion.

Traveling in Morocco is not like going to the Four Seasons in Paris... you're in Africa and things can happen like: encounters with animals you don't have at home, the internet being weak or not working, the air conditioning being broken, the shower water not having as much pressure and heat as your shower, the food not being as good as your mother's, etc... but thankfully everything is different, if it were the same it wouldn't be worth leaving home.

Also, unfortunately, we don't promise good weather. Sometimes it rains, the seas are rough, and it's important to be aware that there may be changes to the itinerary. But what would a trip be without adventure?! If you invite a friend to join you on the tour, it's crucial that you inform them of this information. We don't want a grumpy traveler who's been "dragged" by their friends; this can ruin the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the group.

LEVA-ME stands out for the quality of the accommodations it offers travelers. We don't offer luxury or low-cost trips. We stay in double rooms that can have one double bed or two separate beds. In some situations, you may need to stay in a triple room. Whenever possible, we provide couples with double beds. People traveling alone stay in rooms with two separate beds (exceptionally, this may not be possible in some accommodations). On this trip, we will stay in various types of hotels, from simple hostels in small villages to luxury Berber camps in the middle of the desert, Moroccan riads, and hotels with fantastic pools (4****).

There are several types of desert camps, but the one we stayed in is luxurious and offers everything you need for an unforgettable night. The tents are private (double or triple) with beds and a private bathroom with shower.

Room assignments are randomized as travelers register. We try to match roommates based on age. LEVA-ME already assigns all rooms at the time of travel. If you're traveling alone, you'll share a room with another traveler of the same sex who is also traveling alone. If you're traveling as a couple or with a friend, you'll have your own private room.

It's rarely possible to add an additional single room. If you're interested, please contact us. We'll ask the hotels about availability and the price of the single supplement you'll have to pay, which is usually quite high.

We confirm the trip when all the necessary conditions are met, including reaching the minimum number of travelers and finalizing all organizational issues (reservations, transfers, activities, etc.). Confirmation usually occurs several months before the trip, but it can take up to 20 days before the date. Once the trip is confirmed, we will send you an email so you can purchase flights and send us the flight details/schedules. If the trip is canceled for reasons beyond LEVA-ME's control, we will refund the amount paid to LEVA-ME, but we are not responsible for the flights purchased by the traveler.

No, each traveler is responsible for purchasing their own plane ticket. LEVA-ME simply organizes the entire itinerary from the moment you arrive at your destination until your return.

LEVA-ME welcomes travelers from various countries, so it's possible to include flights in your travel package. We also like that each traveler has the freedom to choose their travel dates, times, and airline.

After LEVA-ME confirms your trip, all travelers will be sent an email with recommended flights. Flights will always be recommended for those departing from Lisbon and Porto. Travelers can, however, choose to purchase other flights that may be more advantageous. If you're departing from another city/country, we'll help with flight recommendations.

You must arrive at your destination on the day the tour begins (start date shown on the website) and schedule your return on the day it ends.

No, you can depart from your country of residence and we'll meet at your destination. We'll discuss how the group assembles later.

Of course, you can, but you'll be on your own until you meet the tour leader and group at the hotel on the day the tour begins. If you wish, you can also stay for a few more days after the LEVA-ME tour ends.

No, but we will provide you with the names of the accommodations so you can book directly with them.

Most of the group does, as they opt for the recommended flight. However, as we have travelers departing from various parts of the world, the official meeting point for the group is at the riad in Marrakech.

We'll keep track of all participants' flight details and schedules. Some will meet at the airport in Portugal, others at their destination airport, and others may even meet at the riad.

Yes, travelers departing from Lisbon/Porto will meet the trip leader at the boarding gate to get to know each other before their trip.

Upon arrival in Morocco, there will be several transfers depending on the travelers' arrival time. One of our drivers will always be waiting for you with a LEVA-ME sign. On your return, the same applies: our drivers will pick you up at the riad and take you to the airport.

We'll use all-terrain jeeps throughout the trip. Transfers can be made by jeep or bus.

We confirm your trip when all the necessary conditions are met, including reaching the minimum number of travelers and finalizing all organizational issues (reservations, transfers, activities, etc.). Confirmation usually occurs several months before the trip, but it can take up to 20 days before the date. It's possible that the trip is already confirmed by the time you make your reservation.

If we haven't reached the minimum number of travelers up to 20 days before the trip, we will contact you to inform you that the trip has been canceled.

If LEVA-ME cancels the trip, we will give participants 3 options: Refund of the money paid / Possibility of scheduling for a new date / Possibility of using it in another destination or leaving it as credit for future trips.

If the traveler cancels, the terms and conditions apply.

First of all, you will be there throughout the trip with the LEVA-ME trip leader. Then you will spend a week with other travelers, just like you have a common taste for travel, for adventure, for discovery… and who seek new emotions and unforgettable moments with this trip. Our travelers range in age from 20 to 70. We guarantee that the atmosphere is great fun and that you will end the trip with a new group of friends.

The vast majority of our groups are Portuguese travelers, but it is common for us to occasionally have travelers of other nationalities.

Since the tour leaders and most travelers are Portuguese speakers, Portuguese will be the preferred language. Our guides and drivers all speak some Portuguese, French, and Spanish. If you have any difficulty understanding, your tour leader can help.

The trip leader is the person who will accompany you throughout your trip, helping you enjoy your destination in a more relaxed manner. It's important to understand that a trip leader isn't a tour guide who will tell you about the history of monuments or cultural details; for this reason, we occasionally have local guides who have studied the country to answer all your questions. The trip leader's goal is to handle all the logistics so you don't have to worry about accommodations, transportation, meals, and activities. At the same time, the trip leader's role is to introduce the group to the country and its culture in general, creating a fun and respectful environment among travelers. They will be a friend who will always be available to help you if you need it.

As passionate about the world, we strive to make our travels as sustainable as possible. Whenever possible, we work with companies and hotels that have a sustainability certificate. We provide our travelers with information on how to be responsible tourists. We strive to work with small businesses and hotels to stimulate the local economy. We avoid practices that negatively impact the population or location we visit, nor do we sell activities that exploit animals.

All travelers are welcome on our trips, but if you have a health problem that limits your physical condition in any way, we recommend that you speak to us before booking so we can advise you or recommend a LEVA-ME trip that we think is more suitable.

Breakfasts are included on all trips, most of which are Western-style and consist of juices, milk, coffee, bread, eggs, fruit, etc. Although this may vary depending on the country or location where you're staying, the meals included are generally local cuisine at the destination.

That's why we like to give you free time to be alone and enjoy it your way. That's why part of your meals are free, so you can go wherever, whenever, and with whomever you want.

On average, you will spend around €150 on meals that are not included.

Whenever possible, and when notified by the traveler, we try to have vegetarian meals available, which is quite easy to find in Morocco. Meals for celiacs are more limited, and in these cases, we recommend bringing some food.

This tour has no extra activities.

No, you don't need any special materials.

Portuguese citizens do not need a visa to enter Morocco.

We recommend travelers consult a travel medicine clinic or speak with their doctor 4 to 8 weeks before departure. Only a doctor can recommend any medication or vaccination to travelers.

All travelers are required to have travel insurance. You can purchase this insurance from any insurance company and must send us proof of coverage.

Yes, Morocco receives millions of tourists every year. In Marrakech, you just need to be extra careful, as in any big city, especially with pickpockets in Jemaa El Fna Square... otherwise, it's very peaceful!

Be over 18 years of age. Youth over 16 are admitted when accompanied by their parents. The price is the same as for an adult.

This happens because the last available seat on the trip is to share a room with another person of the same sex.

Exactly, when a trip is sold out, it's sold out. Unfortunately, we can't add any more people because we don't have any available rooms or transportation. You can always stay on the waiting list, and if anyone cancels, we'll contact you.

Of course! We don't like trips where every minute is scheduled. Our tour will be busy, but there will also be plenty of time for you to explore on your own!

All available seats can be reserved.

No, seats are only reserved after payment for the reservation has been made (30% of the total amount).
