Spend a full day hiking through the countryside. Visit Tham Chang, a cave known for sheltering villagers during the Chinese Haw invasion in the 19th century and again during the Laotian civil war; and Tham Hoi, which winds deep into the mountain.

Today we'll explore one of Luang Prabang's most picturesque spots, the impressive Kuang Si Falls, with their electric turquoise waters. Set off on a one-hour drive south of Luang Prabang, stopping at the vibrant Phousi Market and the nearby Ock Pop Tock Weaving Center, a social enterprise that works primarily in the textile, craft, and design sectors. Continue to the waterfalls and take a leisurely walk through the natural park. It's possible to swim in the refreshing waters, although the water temperature is chilly between the two.
After lunch, we head to the confluence of the Mekong River and the Nam Khan (Khan River), UNESCO-protected Luang Prabang, where we find a beautiful combination of ancient golden temples, saffron-robed monks, faded Indo-Chinese villas, and a tranquil riverscape. Take a half-day guided walking tour to explore some of the highlights of this incredibly picturesque city. Start with a visit to the Royal Palace, now a National Museum housing precious artifacts that belonged to the Royal Family. We'll also visit other famous temples in Luang Prabang, including Wat That Luang, traditionally the cremation site of Lao royalty; the stunning Wat Mai, with its detailed gilded reliefs depicting scenes of village life; and Wat Xieng Thong, built in the 17th century. Note the impressive "tree of life" mosaic on the exterior west wall. End your visit by climbing to the top of Mount Phousi for panoramic views of the Mekong and Khan rivers, as well as the surrounding mountain range. Return to your hotel.

Enjoy a half-day cruise to the famous Pak Ou Caves.
Board a traditional speedboat and begin sailing past scenes of typical Laotian villages, barely visible behind the dense vegetation, wooden canoes bobbing on the shore, tied to bamboo poles, and floats marking the location of fishing nets and traps. Located next to the mighty Mekong and opposite the mouth of the Mekong River, explore the two limestone caves that house some 4,000 sacred Buddha statues and images, ranging in height from a few centimeters to 2 meters. Return to Luang Prabang by boat or private vehicle.
Lunch is included at a very nice local restaurant.
In the afternoon you have free time or extra activity:

Today will be a special day. We'll wake up early to watch the sunrise at the fabulous Angkor Wat (built in the early 12th century). Surrounded by a 1.5-kilometer-wide moat measuring 1.5 kilometers by 1.3 kilometers, it is considered the largest religious building in the world. The temple, which took 30 years to build and involved the labor of 300,000 workers, was built as an earthly representation of the universe, with its central tower symbolizing Mount Meru, which Hindus believe is at the center of the universe.
We'll also visit the Bayon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King, home to nearly perfectly preserved sculptures. We'll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
We continued on to Ta Prohm, a beautiful temple built in 1186 as a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of Jayavarman VII. It's one of the jewels of Angkor and covered in fig trees, creating a haunting and exotic atmosphere. In the late afternoon, we returned to our hotel to rest and enjoy the pool.

After breakfast and check-out, we leave Siem Reap early to catch a flight to Trat, Thailand. We then head to Laem Sok Port, where we'll catch a boat to the incredible island of Koh Kood. The boat ride takes an hour, but once you dip your toes into Thailand's crystal-clear waters, you'll see it was worth it. The rest of the day is free to relax in this paradise.

This trip to Cambodia + Laos + Thailand is for people who like to have fun and make friends, regardless of age. We're sure that if you come with a relaxed mindset, you'll have an unforgettable week. It's important to understand that this is an adventure trip, and therefore there are always unexpected surprises. We like our travelers to stay in quality hotels, however, traveling in Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand isn't like going to the Four Seasons in Paris...
Things can happen, such as encounters with animals you don't have at home, weak or non-functional internet, broken air conditioning, the shower water doesn't come out with as much pressure or heat as yours, the food isn't as good as your mom's, etc. But thankfully, everything is different; if it were the same, there wouldn't be any point in leaving the house. Unfortunately, we can't promise good weather; sometimes it rains, the seas are rough, and it's important to be aware that there may be changes to the itinerary, but what would a trip be without adventure?!
If you invite a friend to come on the tour, it is essential that you inform them of this information. What we don't want is a grumpy traveler who has been "dragged" by their friends, this can ruin the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the group.
We'll be staying in double rooms. If you're traveling alone, you'll share a room with another traveler of the same sex (in some cases, you may have to stay in a triple room or share a double bed). If you're traveling as a couple or with a friend, you'll have your own private room.
It's rare to be able to add an additional single room on this Cambodia + Laos + Thailand trip. If you're interested, please contact us. We'll ask the hotels about availability and the price of the single supplement you'll have to pay, which is usually quite high.
You should purchase your flights only after paying for the tour, confirming with LEVA-ME that your reservation is complete, and LEVA-ME confirming the trip. We'll provide recommended flights. The domestic flight from Luang Prabang to Siem Reap must be the same as the rest of the group to benefit from transfers; otherwise, you'll have to pay for your own transportation between airports and hotels.
We confirm the trip when all the conditions for it to take place are met, namely the minimum number of travelers has been reached, as well as all issues related to the organization of the trip have been finalized (reservations, transfers, activities, etc.).
Confirmation usually occurs several months before the trip, but it can take up to 20 days before the date. Once the trip is confirmed, we'll send you an email so you can purchase flights and send us the flight details and schedules. If the trip is canceled for reasons beyond LEVA-ME's control, we'll refund the amount paid to LEVA-ME, but we're not responsible for the flights purchased by the traveler.
Of course, most of our travelers travel alone. It's a trip to meet new people and make friends.
First of all, you will be there throughout the trip with the LEVA-ME trip leader. Then you will spend a week with other travelers, just like you have a common taste for travel, for adventure, for discovery… and who seek new emotions and unforgettable moments with this trip. Our travelers range in age from 20 to 70. We guarantee that the atmosphere is great fun and that you will end the trip with a new group of friends.
Extra activities must be booked and paid for up to 70 days before the tour. They cannot be booked or canceled after that date. The tour leader may not accompany the extra activities, but you will always have someone in charge of the activity to pick you up and drop you off at your hotel.
All travelers are required to have travel insurance for the duration of the tour. You can purchase this insurance from any insurance company and must send us proof of coverage.
No, as there are travelers departing from various parts of the world, the group's meeting point is at the hotel in Bangkok.
We'll keep track of all participants' flight details and schedules. There's only one transfer from Bangkok airport to the hotel. If you're traveling on another plane and arrive at the same time or earlier than most of the group, you can wait at the airport, and we'll all be on that transfer together. If you arrive later in Bangkok, you'll have to make your own way to the hotel, either by taxi or metro.
Of course you can, but you'll be on your own until we meet at the hotel.
Be over 18 years of age. Those over 16 are welcome when accompanied by their parents. The price is the same as for an adult.
No, just bring your clothes, comfortable sneakers, flip-flops and a bikini.
Of course! We don't like tours that have every minute scheduled. Our tour will be busy, but there will also be plenty of time for you to explore on your own! I'll be the first to encourage it!
Because we like to give you some time to be alone and enjoy every second your way. That's why some meals are free, so you can go wherever you want. On average, you should spend €170 on meals that aren't included.
