We know you'll be tired, but it will be worth it. The city of Dambulla is home to a center that has been cherished by many kings since the 1st century BC. Today, an icon of Sri Lanka, Dambulla Rock Temple houses some of the most unique designs in five magnificently constructed cave temples that flank the golden temple of Dambulla. Observe how the paintings are created along the walls that house 150 Buddha statues. After visiting the temple, we head for lunch. After lunch, we continue our journey to our hotel in Habarana. Rest of the afternoon at leisure and dinner at the hotel.

We'll learn a bit about the village lifestyle and experience the simple pleasures of country life as we stroll through the chena fields and woodlands.
After lunch, we head to Minneriya for a short safari. Spanning 8,800 hectares, this is one of the places in the world with the highest concentration of elephants. Minneriya is also home to herds of deer and a wide variety of birds. We park the jeep on the lakeshore, turn off the engine, and calmly observe the elephant herds. We return to Dambulla. After breakfast, check out of the hotel. We then head to Sigiriya. King Kasyapa's 5th-century rock citadel and a World Heritage Site—Sigiriya—not only boasts Sri Lanka's ancient engineering and urban planning supremacy, but is also one of the country's finest monuments of art and culture. Walk along the gigantic 'Lion Paws'—overlooking the symmetrical royal gardens below—to grasp the sheer splendor that once dominated this rocky fortress. Surrounded by walls and moats, Lion Rock—reminiscent of the mythological "City of the Gods"—is covered in frescoes that relate to Gupta-style paintings found in the Ajanta Caves in India. After the visit, lunch at a local restaurant followed by transfer to Kandy. Kandy is a World Heritage city and the last royal capital of the Sri Lankan kings—Kandy creates a blend of culture, history, and heritage in the minds of its visitors. We'll visit the Temple of the Tooth of Buddha, and if you have time, you'll have the opportunity to stroll the streets of the city center. Dinner at the hotel, and the rest of the evening is free.

After visiting the tea plantations, we have lunch. We then continue to Ella, where we will visit the famous Nine Arch Bridge. The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the Bridge in the Sky, is a bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the finest examples of British railway construction when Ceylon was a colony of the British Empire. It is located in Demodara, between the Ella and Demodara railway stations. The surrounding area has seen a steady increase in tourism due to the bridge's architectural ingenuity and the abundant vegetation on the nearby hillsides. After visiting the bridge, we head to our hotel, check in, have dinner, and have a free evening.

Flight prices can vary significantly depending on the season, number of stopovers, airline promotions, etc. On average, the approximate prices are:
Payment is made by entity and reference (multibanco) in two parts. One of 30% (non-refundable in case of traveler's withdrawal) to secure the reservation, and a second payment of 70% by bank transfer up to 70 days before the start of the tripYou can also choose to pay for the entire trip in one payment. If the reservation is made less than 70 days before the travel date, payment must be made in full.
The dates of January to April are considered the best time to visit Sri Lanka and the Maldives, for this reason the price is usually higher. May to December is the rainy season, the temperatures are equally hot and are around 29ºC, however the weather is more unstable and it is normal for temperatures to occur moments of rain and sun, yet the climate is so changeable that sometimes in the dry season we get rainy days, and in the rainy season, sunny days. June, July, and August, as they are holiday months in Europe, the Maldives are in high demand, which means that, despite these being months with more unstable weather, prices may not be different.
This trip it's for people who like to have fun and make friends. We're sure that if you come with a relaxed mindset, you'll have an unforgettable week.
It is important that you understand that this it's an adventure trip and so there may be unforeseen events. It's a very long journey tiring, with few hours of sleep, especially in Cambodia. The roads are bad, so distances, although short, can take a long time. But in the Maldives, you'll have time to catch up on sleep and relax at our wonderful resort! All hotels are 5-star and very comfortable.
Things can happen like: encounters with animals you don't have at home, the internet being weak or not working, the air conditioning being broken, the shower water not coming out with as much pressure and hot as your shower, the food not being as good as your mother's, etc... but thankfully everything is different, if it were the same it wouldn't be worth leaving the house.
Also, we don't promise good weather, sometimes it rains, the sea is rough, and it's important that you're aware that there may be changes to the itinerary, but what would a trip be without adventure?!
If you invite a friend to come on the tour, it is essential that you inform them of this information. What we don't want is a grumpy traveler who has been "dragged" by their friends, this can ruin the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the group.
Yes, if you are not interested in the Maldives, you can just do the SRI LANKA program, however, we recommend that you do the complete trip because after the intensity of Sri Lanka you will need a few days to rest.
Yes, you can stay more days in the Maldives but you will have to book the extra nights yourself.

The vast majority of our groups are Portuguese travelers, but it is common for us to occasionally have travelers of other nationalities.
Since the tour leaders and most travelers are Portuguese speakers, Portuguese will be the preferred language. Our guides and drivers all speak some Portuguese, French, and Spanish. If you have any difficulty understanding, your tour leader can help.
The trip leader is the person who will accompany you throughout your trip, helping you enjoy your destination in a more relaxed manner. It's important to understand that a trip leader isn't a tour guide who will tell you about the history of monuments or cultural details; for this reason, we occasionally have local guides who have studied the country to answer all your questions. The trip leader's goal is to handle all the logistics so you don't have to worry about accommodations, transportation, meals, and activities. At the same time, the trip leader's role is to introduce the group to the country and its culture in general, creating a fun and respectful environment among travelers. They will be a friend who will always be available to help you if you need it.
As passionate about the world, we strive to make our travels as sustainable as possible. Whenever possible, we work with companies and hotels that have a sustainability certificate. We provide our travelers with information on how to be responsible tourists. We strive to work with small businesses and hotels to stimulate the local economy. We avoid practices that negatively impact the population or location we visit, nor do we sell activities that exploit animals.
All travelers are welcome on our trips, but if you have a health problem that limits your physical condition in any way, we recommend that you speak to us before booking so we can advise you or recommend a LEVA-ME trip that we think is more suitable.
Be over 18 years of age. Those over 16 are welcome when accompanied by their parents. The price is the same as for an adult.
No, just bring your clothes, comfortable sneakers, flip-flops and a bikini.
