DAY 3 | BALI – FLOWERS – RINCA

Another day in Indonesia. Breakfast at the hotel. It's time to pack your backpack and discover the real Indonesia (don't worry, we'll return to Bali at the end to explore the island a little more :-). Private transfer to the airport, flight to Labuan Bajo on Flores Island, approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Upon arrival, transfer from the airport to the port where we'll board a private boat. Over the next few days, we'll explore some of the country's most incredible islands, all on a boat just for us! I confess, even we were excited about this idea! The trip begins with lunch on board, and the first stop is to visit the Komodo dragons (a visit lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes). Those who haven't heard of them will now know that they are the largest lizards in the world, measuring over two meters. Besides meeting these lizards, you'll see different species of monkeys, buffalo, deer, and other animals. You'll pass by several viewpoints with panoramic views of the island. After sunset we returned to the boat, one of the most beautiful in Indonesia.

Today we wake up to watch the sunrise from the boat. After breakfast, we head to Padar Island to climb to the top of the island… here you'll probably see one of the best views of your life! The climb takes approximately 40 minutes. Then we return to the boat and cruise to Komodo Island. We'll stop at Pink Beach, where we'll spend about 2 hours snorkeling and seeing the coral. There are over 1,000 species of fish here—have fun! In the late afternoon, we'll take a brief visit to Komodo Village to learn more about the local lifestyle. Dinner on board, and we'll sail the Indonesian sea until around 11 PM, where we'll anchor and spend the night near Manta Point.

Accommodation: Night on a private boat

DAY 5 | MANTA POINT – RINCA ISLAND

Today, after breakfast, we head to Manta Point to try swimming with the incredible manta rays. The spot is approximately 2 km offshore and has a depth of 10 meters. Those who don't want to venture out can also spend the morning on the desert island beach, a secret we know from Indonesia. Those who swim with the manta rays can also enjoy the beach until lunchtime. Lunch on the boat, and then we sail again to Rinca Island, where we'll anchor. We'll arrive at sunset to watch the thousands of bats take flight as the day grows dark. Dinner and overnight on board.

Of course, in addition to our groups including couples, friends, and family, most of our travelers sign up alone. It's a trip to meet new people and make friends.

This trip to Indonesia is for people who like to have fun and make friends, regardless of age. We're sure that if you come with a relaxed mindset, you'll have an unforgettable week. It's important to understand that this is an adventure trip, and therefore there are always unexpected surprises.

It's a trip that doesn't require much physical effort. There are a few hikes, two of which require greater stamina, but the traveler can opt out if they wish.

It's a very dynamic trip where we change hotels several times, and there are plenty of transfers and connections between islands.

The days on the boat are very comfortable, however we recommend that anyone who gets seasick takes seasickness tablets.

Traveling in Indonesia isn't like going to the Four Seasons in Paris... Sometimes we're on remote islands and things can happen like: encounters with animals you don't have at home, the internet being weak or not working, the air conditioning being broken, the shower water not having as much pressure and heat as yours, the food not being as good as your mom's, etc... but thankfully everything is different, if it were the same it wouldn't be worth leaving home.

Also, unfortunately, we don't promise good weather. Sometimes it rains, the seas are rough, and it's important to be aware that there may be changes to the itinerary. But what would a trip be without adventure?! If you invite a friend to join you on the tour, it's crucial that you inform them of this information. We don't want a grumpy traveler who's been "dragged" by their friends; this can ruin the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the group.

LEVA-ME stands out for the quality of accommodations it offers travelers. We don't offer luxury or low-cost trips. On this trip, we'll stay in 4/5**** hotels aboard a private boat with double rooms with bathrooms for every two travelers.

Room assignments are randomized as travelers sign up. If you're traveling as a couple or with a friend, you'll have your own private room.

If you're traveling alone, you'll share a room with another traveler of the same sex who is also traveling alone. In some cases, you may be required to share a triple room.

Generally all the hotels from LEVA-ME are 4/5 stars. We will be staying in double/twin rooms. If you are traveling alone, you will share a room with another traveler. of the same sex (it is possible that in some situations you may have to stay in a triple room or share a double bed). If you're traveling as a couple or with a friend, you'll have your own private room.

We'll also be staying three nights on a private boat. Although the rooms are very comfortable, we're aware that these may be uncomfortable nights due to the noise and rocking of the boat. The boat has rooms upstairs and downstairs, and the group's layout will be determined by the room type.

It's rare to be able to add a single room. However, if you're interested, please contact us to inquire about hotel availability and the additional fee you'll need to pay.

We confirm the trip when all the necessary conditions are met, including reaching the minimum number of travelers and finalizing all organizational issues (reservations, transfers, activities, etc.). Confirmation usually occurs several months before the trip, but it can take up to 20 days before the date. Once the trip is confirmed, we will send you an email so you can purchase flights and send us the flight details/schedules. If the trip is canceled for reasons beyond LEVA-ME's control, we will refund the amount paid to LEVA-ME, but we are not responsible for the flights purchased by the traveler.

No, each traveler is responsible for purchasing their own plane ticket. LEVA-ME simply organizes the entire itinerary from the moment you arrive in Indonesia until your return.

LEVA-ME welcomes travelers from various countries, so it's possible to include flights in your travel package. We also like that each traveler has the freedom to choose their travel dates, times, and airline.

After LEVA-ME confirms your trip, all travelers will be sent an email with recommended flights. Flights will always be recommended for those departing from Lisbon and Porto. Travelers can, however, choose to purchase other flights that may be more advantageous. If you're departing from another city/country, we'll help with flight recommendations. Domestic flights will also be recommended, and it's essential that they are the same for all travelers (otherwise, you'll have to travel independently). On this trip, the roundtrip destination must be Denpasar in Bali. Domestic flights will be Denpassar–Labuan Bajo and Labuan Bajo–Lombok.

You must arrive at your destination on the day the tour begins (start date shown on the website) and schedule your return on the day it ends.

No, you can depart from your country of residence and we'll meet at your destination. We'll discuss how the group assembles later.

Of course, you can, but you'll be on your own until you meet the tour leader and group at the hotel on the day the tour begins. If you wish, you can also stay for a few more days after the LEVA-ME tour ends.

Yes, it is possible, but you must book the extra nights directly with the hotel.

Most of the group does, as they opt for the recommended flight. However, as we have travelers departing from various parts of the world, the group's official meeting point is at the hotel in Bali.

We'll keep track of all participants' flight details and schedules. Some will meet at the airport in Portugal, others at their destination airport, and others may even meet at their hotel.

Yes, travelers departing from Lisbon/Porto will meet the trip leader at the boarding gate to get to know each other before their trip.

On this trip, there is only one transfer for the entire group on the outward journey, and another on the return journey. Transfer times are scheduled according to the recommended flight times. Upon arrival at the destination airport, a driver with a LEVA-ME sign will always be waiting for travelers. If you choose flights other than those recommended and arrive at the airport earlier, you can wait for the transfer time. The same applies on the return journey; if your flight is later but you want to take advantage of the airport transfer, you can use it. If you choose flights that do not coincide with the transfer days or times, you will have to make your own way.

Transfers are made by bus and sometimes by boat.

We confirm your trip when all the necessary conditions are met, including reaching the minimum number of travelers and finalizing all organizational issues (reservations, transfers, activities, etc.). Confirmation usually occurs several months before the trip, but it can take up to 20 days before the date. It's possible that the trip is already confirmed by the time you make your reservation.

If we haven't reached the minimum number of travelers up to 20 days before the trip, we will contact you to inform you that the trip has been canceled.

If LEVA-ME cancels the trip, we will offer three options to registrants: Refund of the amount paid / Possibility of rescheduling / Possibility of using the trip at another destination or keeping it as a credit for future trips. If the traveler cancels, the terms and conditions apply.

First of all, you will be there throughout the trip with the LEVA-ME trip leader. Then you will spend a week with other travelers, just like you have a common taste for travel, for adventure, for discovery… and who seek new emotions and unforgettable moments with this trip. Our travelers range in age from 20 to 70. We guarantee that the atmosphere is great fun and that you will end the trip with a new group of friends.

The vast majority of our groups are Portuguese travelers, but it is common for us to occasionally have travelers of other nationalities.

Since the tour leaders and most travelers are Portuguese speakers, Portuguese will be the preferred language. However, we sometimes have local guides on our trips who only speak English or Spanish. If you have any difficulty understanding, your tour leader can help.

The trip leader is the person who will accompany you throughout your trip, helping you enjoy your destination in a more relaxed manner. It's important to understand that a trip leader isn't a tour guide who will tell you about the history of monuments or cultural details; for this reason, we occasionally have local guides who have studied the country to answer all your questions. The trip leader's goal is to handle all the logistics so you don't have to worry about accommodations, transportation, meals, and activities. At the same time, the trip leader's role is to introduce the group to the country and its culture in general, creating a fun and respectful environment among travelers. They will be a friend who will always be available to help you if you need it.

As passionate about the world, we strive to make our travels as sustainable as possible. Whenever possible, we work with companies and hotels that have a sustainability certificate. We provide our travelers with information on how to be responsible tourists. We strive to work with small businesses and hotels to stimulate the local economy. We avoid practices that negatively impact the population or location we visit, nor do we sell activities that exploit animals.

All travelers are welcome on our trips, but if you have a health problem that limits your physical condition in any way, we recommend that you speak to us before booking so we can advise you or recommend a LEVA-ME trip that we think is more suitable.

Breakfasts are generally included on all trips, and most are Western-style, consisting of juices, milk, coffee, bread, eggs, fruit, etc. Although this may vary depending on the country or location where you're staying, the meals included are generally local cuisine at the destination.

That's why we like to give you free time to be alone and enjoy it your way. That's why part of your meals are free, so you can go wherever, whenever, and with whomever you want.

On average, you will spend around €200 on meals that are not included.

We always try to have vegetarian meals available whenever possible, and when notified by the traveler. Meals for celiacs are more limited, and in these cases, we recommend bringing some food.

Those who choose to do extra activities must book and pay up to 70 days before the trip.

No, you don't need any special materials.

Currently, all tourists require a visa to enter Indonesia. The visa is issued upon arrival in the country and costs Rp. 500,000 (approximately €32).

There are no mandatory vaccinations, except for COVID-19. We recommend travelers consult a travel medicine clinic or speak with their doctor 4 to 8 weeks before departure. Only a doctor can recommend any vaccine or medication.

All travelers are required to have travel insurance. You can purchase this insurance from any insurance company and must send us proof of coverage.

Yes, Indonesia receives millions of tourists every year. The world is a much safer place than we sometimes imagine. Traveling to countries where LEVA-ME organizes trips is very similar to traveling in Portugal. Obviously, you need to remain vigilant, just as you would in your own country.

Be over 18 years of age. Youth over 16 are admitted when accompanied by their parents. The price is the same as for an adult.

This happens because the last available seat on the trip is to share a room with another person of the same sex.

Exactly, when a trip is sold out, it's sold out. Unfortunately, we can't add any more people because we don't have any available rooms or transportation. You can always stay on the waiting list, and if anyone cancels, we'll contact you.

Of course! We don't like trips where every minute is scheduled. Our tour will be busy, but there will also be plenty of time for you to explore on your own!

All available seats can be reserved.

No, seats are only reserved after payment for the reservation has been made (30% of the total amount).
