Welcome to Iceland! Put on your hat and gloves and meet our transfer to the country's capital, Reykjavik. The journey takes approximately one hour, giving you plenty of time to appreciate Iceland's diverse and inhospitable landscape. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of your free time to explore the city.
Accommodation: 4**** Hotel
The driver/guide will meet the group at the hotel in Reykjavík to embark on an adventure exploring the entire south coast of Iceland. We'll visit the Skógafoss waterfalls before strolling along the black sand beach of Reynisfjara. We continue our journey further east, where we make a short stop in the town of Vík. We continue our journey further east, where we'll soon begin to see the spectacular glaciers and Iceland's highest mountains. We'll take a short hike along the unpronounceable Fjaðrárgljúfur. Here you'll be able to take spectacular photos. We continue on our way and enter Skaftafell and Vatnajokull National Parks. We'll stay at a nearby hotel, perfect for exploring this region over the next two days.
Accommodation: 4**** Hotel
After breakfast, we'll head to one of our favorite spots in Iceland, the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. We'll explore the enormous glacier lagoon and the icebergs floating nearby. Seals can be seen swimming among the icebergs. We'll head to Diamond Beach, where the lagoon's icebergs float with the tide into the ocean, washing ashore on the black-sand beach. From here, we'll head towards the port town of Höfn. Nearby is the Stokksnes nature reserve, which boasts the Vestrahorn mountains rising above the black-sand shores, providing a truly wow-inducing experience. This is undoubtedly the most incredible place in Iceland, in my opinion. Reindeer can often be spotted near this area. We'll then return to Skaftafell for another night.
Accommodation: 4**** Hotel
After breakfast, we'll head to Falljökull, where we'll trek the incredible Vatnajökull glacier. We'll walk and explore the glacier's textures, features, and crevasses. It's truly a unique experience. The glacier hike lasts about 3 to 4 hours in total, from the moment we leave our geared-up bus until we return. Once off the glacier, we head west along the southern coast, again making a short stop in Vík before visiting the iconic Seljalandsofss waterfall. We then head to our next hotel for the night.
Accommodation: 3*** Hotel
We depart from our comfortable hotel in southern Iceland after breakfast and head to the Golden Circle. We start the day visiting some of our favorite sights before enjoying a light but unique lunch inside the Friðheimar greenhouse farm. Here we can also take a quick visit to the stables to meet the Icelandic horses. From there, we continue to the wonderful Geysir geothermal area, where you can see its explosion and steam vents. We then head to Gullfoss waterfall, one of the most powerful waterfalls in Iceland. We'll spend the night at our next hotel, perfectly positioned to continue exploring the Golden Circle the following day.
Accommodation: 4**** Hotel
From our hotel, we continue exploring this famous area. We'll visit Þingvellir National Park, which has historical and geological significance. It's a place of incredible beauty, situated between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Here, you can sign up for a unique (extra) activity: diving between the tectonic plates in the Silfra Fissure. These are some of the clearest waters you'll ever see and are one of the best diving spots in the world. A drysuit will keep you warm in the icy waters. We'll then head to Reykjavik, arriving in the late afternoon, where you'll have free time to explore the city and have dinner.
Accommodation: 4**** Hotel
Take a relaxing morning in Reykjavik to explore the city on your own. After lunch, we'll head to the world-famous Blue Lagoon. You can swim in the silica-rich lagoon, where you can relax for the afternoon in these restorative waters. Afterwards, you can have dinner at the Lava restaurant before heading to our hotel in Keflavik. Here, we'll say goodbye to our driver/guide. The hotel is perfectly located near Keflavik Airport, just a short drive away for our early flight.
Accommodation: 4**** Hotel
Because not all travelers have the same interests, some activities are not included in the trip price. Interested travelers must book and pay for additional activities up to 70 days before the trip. Reservations and cancellations will not be accepted after this date. Activity prices may change at any time.
National Geographic named this one of the 20 must-do adventures. Swim in the crystal-clear, icy waters (yes, we're wearing a wetsuit!) in the fissure that divides the European and American tectonic plates. It takes about 30 minutes to snorkel with your gear on. The water is so clear that visibility is up to 100 meters. An incredible experience that leaves our travelers spellbound.
Flight prices may vary depending on the season, number of stopovers, airline promotions, etc. On average, the approximate prices are:

Of course, in addition to our groups including couples, friends, and family, most of our travelers sign up alone. It's a trip to meet new people and make friends.
This trip is for people who like to have fun and make friends, regardless of age. We're sure that if you come with a relaxed mindset, you'll have an unforgettable week. It's important to understand that this is an adventure trip, so there are always unexpected surprises. It's a trip that involves a lot of travel by minibus, but it's not a trip that requires much physical exertion. Iceland is a very cold country, sometimes with strong winds. In April, temperatures range between -10°C and 10°C.
Even though this trip is a very well-organized country and we stay in very comfortable hotels, things can happen: the internet is weak or doesn't work, the air conditioning is broken, the shower water doesn't have as much pressure or heat as yours, the food isn't as good as your mom's, etc. But thankfully, everything is different; if it were the same, it wouldn't be worth leaving home. Also, unfortunately, we don't promise good weather; sometimes it rains, the sea is rough, and it's important to be aware that there may be changes to the itinerary, but what would a trip be without adventure?! If you invite a friend to join you on the tour, it's crucial that you inform them of this information. We don't want a grumpy traveler who's been "dragged" by their friends; this can ruin the fun and relaxed atmosphere of the group.
We will be staying in double/twin rooms. If you are traveling alone, you will share a room with another traveler. of the same sex (it is possible that in some situations you may have to stay in a triple room or share a double bed). If you're traveling as a couple or with a friend, you'll have your own private room.
Room assignments are randomized as travelers register. If you're traveling alone, you'll share a room with another traveler of the same sex who is also traveling alone. If you're traveling as a couple or with a friend, you'll have your own private room.
It's rarely possible to add an additional single room. If you're interested, please contact us. We'll ask the hotels about availability and the price of the single supplement you'll have to pay, which is usually quite high.
No, each traveler is responsible for purchasing their own plane ticket. LEVA-ME simply organizes the entire itinerary from the moment you arrive at your destination until your return.
LEVA-ME welcomes travelers from various countries, so it's possible to include flights in your travel package. We also like that each traveler has the freedom to choose their travel dates, times, and airline.
After LEVA-ME confirms your trip, all travelers will be sent an email with recommended flights. Flights will always be recommended for those departing from Lisbon and Porto. Travelers can, however, choose to purchase other flights that may be more advantageous. If you're departing from another city/country, we'll help with flight recommendations.
We confirm the trip when all the necessary conditions are met, including reaching the minimum number of travelers and finalizing all organizational issues (reservations, transfers, activities, etc.). Confirmation usually occurs several months before the trip, but it can take up to 20 days before the date. Once the trip is confirmed, we will send you an email so you can purchase flights and send us the flight details/schedules. If the trip is canceled for reasons beyond LEVA-ME's control, we will refund the amount paid to LEVA-ME, but we are not responsible for the flights purchased by the traveler.
You must arrive at your destination on the day the tour begins (start date shown on the website) and schedule your return on the day it ends.
No, you can depart from your country of residence and we'll meet at your destination. We'll discuss how the group assembles later.
Of course, you can, but you'll be on your own until we meet at the hotel. We don't make reservations for extra nights, but we'll let you know the hotel if necessary so you can book directly.
No, but we will provide you with the names of the accommodations so you can book directly with them.
Most of the group does, as they opt for the recommended flight. However, as we have travelers departing from various parts of the world, the official meeting point for the group is at the hotel in Reykjavik.
We'll keep track of all participants' flight details and schedules. Some will meet at the airport in Portugal, others at their destination airport, and others may even meet at their hotel.
Yes, travelers departing from Lisbon/Porto will meet the trip leader at the boarding gate to get to know each other before their trip.
There will be only one transfer each way, scheduled based on recommended flight times, which are usually the times of most of the group's travel. A driver will always be waiting for travelers with a LEVA-ME sign.
We will use a minibus throughout the trip.
If we haven't reached the minimum number of travelers up to 20 days before the trip, we will contact you to inform you that the trip has been canceled.
If LEVA-ME cancels the trip, we will give participants 3 options: Refund of the money paid / Possibility of scheduling for a new date / Possibility of using it in another destination or leaving it as credit for future trips.
If the traveler cancels, the terms and conditions apply.
First of all, you will be there throughout the trip with the LEVA-ME trip leader. Then you will spend a week with other travelers, just like you have a common taste for travel, for adventure, for discovery… and who seek new emotions and unforgettable moments with this trip. Our travelers range in age from 20 to 70. We guarantee that the atmosphere is great fun and that you will end the trip with a new group of friends.
The vast majority of our groups are Portuguese travelers, but it is common for us to occasionally have travelers of other nationalities.
Since the tour leaders and most travelers are Portuguese speakers, Portuguese will be the preferred language. Our guides and driver speak English. If you have any difficulty understanding, your tour leader can assist you.
The trip leader is the person who will accompany you throughout your trip, helping you enjoy your destination in a more relaxed manner. It's important to understand that a trip leader isn't a tour guide who will tell you about the history of monuments or cultural details; for this reason, we occasionally have local guides who have studied the country to answer all your questions. The trip leader's goal is to handle all the logistics so you don't have to worry about accommodations, transportation, meals, and activities. At the same time, the trip leader's role is to introduce the group to the country and its culture in general, creating a fun and respectful environment among travelers. They will be a friend who will always be available to help you if you need it.
As passionate about the world, we strive to make our travels as sustainable as possible. Whenever possible, we work with companies and hotels that have a sustainability certificate. We provide our travelers with information on how to be responsible tourists. We strive to work with small businesses and hotels to stimulate the local economy. We avoid practices that negatively impact the population or location we visit, nor do we sell activities that exploit animals.
All travelers are welcome on our trips, but if you have a health problem that limits your physical condition in any way, we recommend that you speak to us before booking so we can advise you or recommend a LEVA-ME trip that we think is more suitable.
Breakfasts are included on all trips, most of which are Western-style and consist of juices, milk, coffee, bread, eggs, fruit, etc. Although this may vary depending on the country or location where you're staying, the meals included are generally local cuisine at the destination.
That's why we like to give you free time to be alone and enjoy it your way. That's why part of your meals are free, so you can go wherever, whenever, and with whomever you want.
On average, you will spend around €300 on meals that are not included.
Whenever possible, and when notified by the traveler, we try to have vegetarian meals available, which is quite easy to find in Morocco. Meals for celiacs are more limited, and in these cases, we recommend bringing some food.
Additional activities, if you wish to enroll, must be booked and paid for up to 70 days before your trip. It's important that you're physically fit enough to participate in the activities you intend to participate in.
No, you don't need any special equipment. Just warm clothes and hiking boots.
Portuguese citizens do not need a visa to enter Iceland.
We recommend travelers consult a travel medicine clinic or speak with their doctor 4 to 8 weeks before departure. Only a doctor can recommend any medication or vaccination to travelers.
All travelers are required to have travel insurance. You can purchase this insurance from any insurance company and must send us proof of coverage.
Yes, Iceland is one of the safest countries in the world!
Be over 18 years of age. Youth over 16 are admitted when accompanied by their parents. The price is the same as for an adult.
This happens because the last available seat on the trip is to share a room with another person of the same sex.
Exactly, when a trip is sold out, it's sold out. Unfortunately, we can't add any more people because we don't have any available rooms or transportation. You can always stay on the waiting list, and if anyone cancels, we'll contact you.
Of course! We don't like trips where every minute is scheduled. Our tour will be busy, but there will also be plenty of time for you to explore on your own!
All available seats can be reserved.
No, seats are only reserved after payment for the reservation has been made (30% of the total amount).
